Exactly, most tourists coming to WDW are coming regardless of a holiday overlay or not. Disneyland obviously has to cater to locals and a ton of repeat business.
Even if it is it still doesn’t make sense. It’s not like the attic is clear and open and doesn’t have portraits and hundreds of other things everywhere.
It was clearly a cost issue in my opinion. How could a static AA not be able to be shoehorned into the attic? They couldn’t have added a support for him to stand on? It just seems like a cover for TDO’s netoriously cheap ways. But I’ll take your guy’s word on it. I’ve been out of the Disney game...
If they can’t be stated publicly how do we really know that? I know people have said it’s impossible but I am not buying it. It wasn’t impossible it was just much cheaper and easier to put him by the endless hallway.
After watching it multiple times I think it’d look a lot better with more of a red lighting tone to at least match the endless hallway scene. He pops out like a sore thumb. It’s beyond me how they didn’t put him in the attic.
