Summer 1997 - I had totally forgotten that the water was so blue here, was it always blue since the park opened? I wonder when they changed to the current rock bottom. I can only imagine how much work it was keeping the water clear from debris and the sides clear from algae and scum, no wonder...

This was on West Center Street, off Main Street, which was removed around 2001 when they built they Emporium store complex. This pic was taken during my parents 1975 honeymoon a year before I was born, but I do remember the last time I saw it was during a 1997 vacation.
