Fantasmic and the Parades are plagued by labor shortages right now. They simply don't have the actors and live show folks to make them functional. Many of the folks who do those shows have moved on to other jobs in Orlando, or they moved home during the pandemic to Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin...

I have never seen Universal as packed as it has been the past month -- and the same for SeaWorld (a particular favorite place of mine) -- and part of that is because they don't have any mask rules in place and it has increased the local attendance there specifically because you DON'T need masks...

Just from a locals point of view - I live in a very highly Disney-oriented affluent area about 5 minutes from the parks. Disney's reluctance to remove the indoor mask requirement is absolutely driving business away from the parks until they do -- and with that, it means a lot of money normally...

Not to mention that Orange County has no mask rules, so nobody here wears them unless you are inside a grocery store, and then only because they make you wear them. This system won't work at WDW.

Because of the very limited number of guests that will be able to enter you won't get that normal crowding in. Most likely they won't be opening all of the resorts, just the ones that they can best accommodate transportation needs to the parks, with limited bus occupancy and drop off's timed...
