Seeing these posts about how restricted registration may have been, I’m feeling extra grateful to have gotten in. I registered yesterday for my first Dopey!!
I know that no one can really answer this question because no one can see the future, but I’m planning to go to Epcot tomorrow for the last showing. I have the day off thankfully. Does anyone have any recommendations for a time to get to Epcot?
Oh my gosh I loved the DJ in WWoS. My favorite line of his when I was going by was "How did they manage to build Osceola Parkway uphill in both directions?" :joyfull:
Thanks so much. I want to be early but not too early.
Also..is Osceola parkway to world drive the best route to epcot? I’m coming from near world center.
I can't believe it's marathon weekend already! I'm doing my first full on Sunday and I'm so unprepared. :banghead: Anyway, as this is the first race I've done while I've actually lived in Florida, I'll be driving to the race for the first time. Does anybody have a suggested time for getting to...

Sorry for all of the questions, but this is my first hurricane lol. My flight back to Orlando is still scheduled for tomorrow night but if it gets cancelled I likely won't be back until Thursday so I have time to figure this out or for power to be restored in areas, but does anybody know if...
I hope everyone is safe, and also glad the worst is finally through Orlando. This has been such a long week tracking this storm!
I keep checking the Duke Energy site and it looks like my apartment (Orange County, 15 minutes from Disney) hasn't had any reported outages which is a good sign, but...
I've been following both, but focusing on the local coverage. As somebody who just moved back to Orlando and isn't familiar with hurricanes or the local media, I'm so impressed by their coverage.
It's really crazy how different the local news reports are compared to The Weather Channel. WFTV is saying the eyewall is going to pass over Lake/Polk/Orange County in the next six hours and getting winds close to 90 mph, whereas TWC still has Lake Buena Vista at 50-70 mph. Unless the local news...
