Easy. They are built to withstand it. We can construct buildings to withstand hurricanes and tornados, the price goes up exponentially though.

5am update from Boardwalk. Still very windy, rain has stopped. Power has remained on. Looking outside, I see some branches and such, but there doesn’t appear to be much damage.
