Luckily that decision has been reversed (according to DLP Report); the current Frozen float will stay in Stars on Parade. A good choice if you ask me, as the other Frozen float doesn't fit with the overall theme of the parade.
Disney Stars on Parade returned today at Disneyland Paris and they reworked the music score of the opening unit to get rid of "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah". I guess we can expect the same for FoF and Magic Happens when/if they return.
If you consider (some) repainted floats and a new song a "brand new parade", yes. Otherwise, Paris easily rolls down the same parade down the parade route for 10 years...
As a replacement for the Princesses during the meals, Mickey and the gang appear in special costumes.
As a replacement for the Princess Pavillion, a short Princess Cavalcade has been presented that starts at Town Square, has a short show stop in Central Plaza and travels back to Town Square. I...
Wow. Those music transitions are rough. In my opinion, Soundsational did a better job with that. Also a bummer that the last four floats use the same soundtrack. Floats however look awesome, except the lead float and the Frozen float. The Frozen float looks so platic-y compared to the one in...
Speaking of old parade float chassis, do we know what happened to the CADCTP floats? I know one of them got transformed into a float for Elsa at the Frozen Royal Welcome Parade at DHS, but what happened to the rest?
Love the idea of using the B&B technology and using it for a Cinderella ride! That way they don't have to face problems regarding agreements with the Oriental Land Comapny about the B&B ride being exclusive to Tokyo for a certain number of years.
Guess you're right about that, did not know that...
It would be so much better if they put a B&B / Mermaid / Tangled darkride with great exteriors (like B&B in Tokyo) in this spot and put MMRR behind Fantasyland Station... I think it would fit nicely with Le Pays des Contes de Fées and Casey Jr.
So I was wondering, Soundsational had 9 floats, Magic Happens will feature 9 floats based on the description by DPB and the concept arts. What happened to the 10th float, the one that was shipped over from Tokyo.
For the ones that don't like podcasts: according to the DLP Report Podcast the well-known parade designers Kevin & Jody have designed a brand new christmas parade for Disneyland Paris. Reportedly, it was meant for this year, but is has been pushed back to next year.
