Agreed. Just finished a visit after a 5-year absence and the state of the ride was terrible. Mind you, I can’t even state half of the effects that the ride should have and still noticed enough to make me cringe at some of the sights.

I cried actual tears of joy after riding Forbidden Journey for the first time, and I'm not even a hardcore Potter-nerd so I'd have to go with that as my choice. I've yet to ride the new Hagrid coaster so my vote might change on my next visit.

I'd also argue that Islands of Adventure is pretty well balanced, missing perhaps some more family-friendly rides, but definitely not what I'd call a screen-fest. It's really just the Studio park with this issue and it seems they're well aware. I'm fairly certain the 3rd gate won't have this...

Thank you! That was very helpful. To be honest, this doesn't sound like that great a perk. I know the resort can get extremely busy but a 15 minute head start for two attractions doesn't seem that amazing. (Especially since we'll be skipping Toy Story Mania and Buzz since we've done both...

Some of these ideas are more difficult to stomach than an episode of The Handmaid's Tale. Praised Be.
