Even if he's just running masterclasses for Imagineers this is surely a good sign that his ethos and expertise are being valued and nurtured. Certainly a more positive news story than not having him involved at all.
I mean, Epcot could have two shows. It would help to disperse crowds. DHS often has two performances of F! as well as WWOA. The low pyro demand makes this more feasible.
But even though EF was relatively light on pyro, there's still a lot more dollars wrapped up in that show than WWOA.
I posted my initial thoughts last night, but the park felt more "alive" than it has for years. Part of that is that World Celebration just had a beautiful vibe and everyone in the park seemed in high spirits.
On reflection:
The show itself was good, not great. Not HEA levels of feels. But I...
My take is that it feels old school Disney. Very pyro heavy. Builds really well. It lacks the energy of Harmonious, though. Much better visibility though. I LOVED Harmonious, but only from a small number of viewing positions. I think this show is a winner. And the vibe at Epcot tonight was the...
Lots of movement and scurrying behind the scrims in World Celebration today, based on my view from the monorail loop. Talking of, that onboard spiel still refers to Future World. Update tomorrow?
Finally got round to watching the Epcot episode of Behind The Attraction. SSE was featured a fair bit, which makes me optimistic for its future, given that the whole series is basically a big commercial for the parks. It really deserved its own episode, though presumably leadership are well...
As of right now the preview is a walk-in, no wait time at all. But cast members are still (rightfully) enforcing the park reservation rule (I park hopped over and thought I'd at least politely ask). Will be back on Thursday with a park pass, so hoping to walk right up.
It's so sad to see the attraction in the state it is. I rode the brilliant Indy at DLR yesterday and for a ride that's roughly the same age, using the exact same ride system, the difference between the current state of them both is staggering
I should think the early closure is more about giving themselves more time overnight to clean up ahead of normal operation on Monday. Which I'm delighted about as we're hitting DLR tomorrow and Tuesday
Question. Is it possible to join more than one virtual queue? So, given that the 1pm drops for both parks stay open for quite a while, could I join the Guardians queue while in Epcot at 1pm, park hop to MK, arriving at 2pm, and join the VQ for Tron?
Given the monorail link it would be easy to...
Heading to MK for first time since Tron opening in a few weeks. Really would love to ride at night. Thoughts on jumping in to VQ at 1pm exactly Vs waiting a certain number of minutes after in the hope of a post 8pm callback? Risky strategy or tried and tested?
P.s. I do note that the 1pm drop...
