Because of your deep skepticism, my best advise to you would be to book directly with Disney. There is no point in trying to save money at the expense of your peace of mind. Renting DVC points is not for everyone. Take care, ~ David

Yes, that is part of our contract with the guest, in writing. However, we would try to find suitable accommodations first, to avoid our guest standing in a resort at Disney with no room to occupy. ~ David
