Is it even necessary for Disney+ to ever turn a profit?
The service is basically a 24/7 stream of advertisements for Disney's merchandise, media, parks, and other products.
All of Disney's income streams are dependent on broadcast/streaming media to create public knowledge about them.
I've watched the old Reflections of Earth fireworks from as close as the Yacht Club beach and even from that close it's not much to see- the majority of the fireworks aren't even above the treeline/buildings .
Not for the Parks Division, though. There's a ton of people in that park on this early November Monday.
