Interesting -- when we were there in December the buses were not shared. We had dedicated buses for AOA, and never had any issues using them.

Sorry I'm just now responding to this, but luckily I haven't had any issues. Looks like you were correct and RFC (in WDW) wasn't affected.

We just went in December (also the week before Christmas) and it is definitely very busy. Just make sure to make your FP+ selections ASAP and go to the parks early to avoid the bulk of the crowds. I'm sure you will have a wonderful time :)
