@Eric1955 , do you know when you plan to return back to your apartment? Although I've read that some parts of Orlando had some damage from the hurricane, I wasn't sure if your building was o.k., and if the street it was on, had power.

Most were little kids books and many were Disney....brand new never opened.:jawdrop: We took what we wanted and the new books will go to the VFW Toys For Tots drive this Christmas. Somebody will be getting some Disney reading! One in the books in a stack I kept was this one from 1980. Inside it had actual characters taking a train trip. Odd the characters were Wendell, Shaker and Liver Lips (Country Bears), Panchito, Honest John and Gordon (Pinocchio).

I had one like this in which Mickey was a mailman. The minute I saw your picture, I remembered my book. Ahhhhh memories....

Hope today went better, @Eric1955 , and no more unfortunate encounters with any hooves.

My leg is feeling much better now. It only really hurts if I hit it or move it the wrong way.

I got back tonight. The drive took forever because of traffic but I'm back now and my apartment is just as I left it.
