Huh? It's only Aug. 16. Aren't there kids who swim through the summer?
When I was a kid, our town pool was open up to Labor Day.

Wednesday--halfway through staycation. Took a long walk in the woods this morning, and then went to Dunks for a donut--to reward myself for an hour walk. 
I have one of those Shark steamer floor cleaners, which works o.k., but the kitchen floor looked really grungy today. So I bought a new, regular floor mop and some Spic and Spam liquid floor cleaner. Moved the furniture around in the kitchen, and washed the floor. (Dog hated all this--he cowered in the corner--thought I had completely lost my mind. ) Floor looks great, but I really wished I was in WDW!

As soon as the kids go back to school they stop opening in the weekdays. Today and yesterday the kids went back to school. It's still open on the weekends until labor day.

I was wondering the same thing we officially close then but if we have a warm spell it remains open for adults only on weekdays and for families on the weekend. One year we made it almost until OctoberHuh? It's only Aug. 16. Aren't there kids who swim through the summer?

My daughter got her spacers in today. So begin the years of braces.
Sympathy like.
I remember those years.
Fortunately, it was only oldest DD that needed them.
Although, she never really seemed too bugged by them, and actually had some pretty good fun with the different colors...!

There's something theraputic about going through boxes you haven't been in for awhile. I'm on a mission! Reduce, reuse, recycle, declutter or as my mom says, "Time to get this s*** out of here."
