@kap91 here's the recap:)
Sunday March 19th - Ultimate Magic Kingdom Progress Report

First I'd like to welcome three newcomers to the project - @gonzoWDW @tmthomas52 and @Fox&Hound ! Let's give them a warm welcome and thanks for joining us on this project!

---------------------------------------

General Updates to Fantasyland

The Layout
- The only significant changes to the design is that the Winnie the Pooh attraction will now be included in a Critter Country area rather than Fantasyland proper. And the Villains "Mini-Land" has now been upgraded to a full-fledged "land"
- Everything else about the land hasn't changed since last recap, but can change in the future.

Attraction Progress
- The most progress over the last few days has involved the Villains Land, with multiple write-ups surfacing.

@gonzoWDW has written the queue for the Bald Mountain roller coaster

I've 90% finished the Haunted Mansion write-up:
http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/club-32-villains-land-fantasyland-project.925067/page-12

And @Disney Dad 3000 is working on a C/D ticket attraction based on a Villains Academy. It may also have some influence from @tmthomas52 and his ideas about it being the "monsters in laugh floor" of the land. Whatever the end result is, it will be gears more towards kids, rounding out the area as a whole.

Talks are currently going on right now about this attraction in Fantasyland - its scenes, design, and layout
http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/club-32-lounge.924999/page-75

World's Fair and Discoveryland Talks
Providing more opportunity for a diverse team to discuss topics that they are interested in without having to wait for a completed land by land basis -- we've opened up a new brainstorming thread for two lands that have been confirmed for the park.

http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/club-32-worlds-fair-and-discoveryland.925341/

A World's Fair Land inspired by attractions based on the 1964 World's Fair and Discoveryland, which will be a spin off of the eventual Tomorrowland in our Magic Kingdom Park.

Talks have discussed what attractions to include - with @MCParradox 's An Adventure in Time taking the cake as one of the most popular additions to the area:
wFdC4mG.png

In addition @FigmentPigments has an interest in designing an Atlantis ride!

Discussion has also been had on a 20K Leagues Under the Sea attraction as well.

-------------------------------------

Updates to Come
The Beauty and the Beast Pre-Show and Queue will most likely see progress from @OvertheHorizon in the coming week! So we'll look forward to that.
- Before it slips back, I'd like to work on the Frozen Mountain attraction -- and work out the kinks for what exactly we'd like it to be.
- And when @MA Screamin' returns - talks will re-surface on the Fantasia attraction as well as our castle selection.

A lot to look forward to this week! As always if anyone wants to join in - you are more than welcome, as it's open to everyone!

Thanks and have a great day!

What kind of book scenes were you thinking? :bookworm: very interested to know since I havent read the book in a very long time. Just as devils advocate, most people only really know the Disney movies people might get confused if say we had a jabberwocky in there.
So @Brer Oswald back to Alice I'm interested to here what you might think for this!

It would probably start by going down the rabbit hole. In the room with the talking door, there could be an illusion where guests "grow" then "shrink". After that, guests can go through scenes such as the caucus race, tweedle dee and tweedle dum encounters, the tulgey wood, the Mad tea party, the castle courtyard, the croquette game, maybe the trial?
