Interesting that they are going with a tethered solution. It'll be interesting to see how they address the hygiene concerns.

This was added to a coaster this year in the uk called galactica it can be fun as you can ride it either with or without the virtual reality headset
In terms of hygiene the headset is wiped with antibacterial wipes after every use

That would cause a decrease in capacity.

You can see some of the unload/sanitize/load procedure at 1:38
Reports are that this takes between 8-10 minutes between dispatches so yeah, this thing is a capacity murderer.

Say goodbye to walking on to Kraken, all day, er'ryday.

Here's an even better video detailing the rigmarole that has to happen every time they send a train out.

Poor, poor air.

The good thing about galactica is they can load/unload two trains at a time while a third is out on the track.
If they extend the station for kraken they can still do this at seaworld. Which will help with capacity issues

I do not like this decision at all. SeaWorld's efficiency is already crap. Like literally among the worst in the theme park industry. It already takes a good 3-4 minutes for them to load a Kraken train, even though it should take about 1 minute to unload, load, and send. This will absolutely destroy capacity, not to mention that unless they only run one train, you will be sitting at the end for 5-10 minutes.
