I love the older movies in black and white. I've never been a fan of "colorizing" the old classics.
I agree, usually the coloring makes the film look a little off and cartoonlike.

I had that problem too. Try the Mission brand white corn shells, they seem to hold up better.
If I'm not mistaken, I think when Turner bought a lot of the old classics (for Turner TV station, years ago), his company colorized a bunch of the older movies, which really turned me off.
@ajrwdwgirl , seeing that picture of the both of you on the carousel reminded me of how much I enjoy that ride--or any carousel anywhere. It's one of the oldest, tamest rides, and yet--always one of my favorites. The paint job on the horses is beautiful, too. (I always run fast to find the prettiest horse to ride!!) They really keep up that carousel.
I think the selections up in Canada are not as good as down here, at least according to @JenniferS
The Dapper Dans' bright red, barbershop quartet costumes are so cheerful for the season!
Glad to hear that your hubby keeps the carousel tradition alive. He really cares about you.
"On Your Feet" was the name of that musical in Broadway. I've love to see that; I really enjoyed the singing and dancing they performed at the parade.
Basically they do unless someone lies about their time when they fill out the questionnaire. I'm sure that happens, but, not often.
