They claimed it was a warm cinnamon roll, but it really wasn't. It was tasty enough. My latte was good though.

We also shared the breakfast croissant sandwich. It was okay.

same here, most of them have convenient stores of chains.. either 7eleven or OXXO (the mexican equivalent)99% of our gas stations have a mini mart in them. Some sell only basic necessities and some are like a little convenience store.
yeah, the key is finding one that doesnt smell lol. That was were I was forced to eat my Fish and Chips lunch on my last visit to Epcot. Works really well and is so handy for trash disposal, like you said.
shrimp pizza is my favourite, but daang, so expensive.. (2x the price of the normal pizza)I had a delicious lobster pizza once. I didn't think it would be good but it was so so good. Of course, different sauce, cheese, etc. to compliment the shellfish.
the berbere looks a lot like the classic Mexican "Carne a la Mexicana".Here are some food and wine foods for you all!
My favorite of the festival, and it really wasn't on the want to try list....South Korea, the bbq short ribs

I don't do that much decorating. Just 2 8 foot long shelves, a mantle, runner and centerpiece on the dining room table, 2 coffee tables, one counter, a regular tree an 18 inch tree in each of my boy's rooms about 8 wall quilts or so and a bit of this and that. A bit of garland on top of the windows. How much decorating do you do? I have images in my head of your house decked out head to toe.
All I do is put a wreath on the front door, and we have a Christmas tree (but we don't buy that until maybe the 2nd weekend of Dec.-- sometimes, the first weekend, depending upon how much I can stretch the first week of the month's paycheck! ) Oh, I also have a Christmas towel in the kitchen. Somehow, I think you probably do a bit more decorating than moi?
I agree fish are friends not food but could you please send me your mushrooms and olives. I'll pay the postage. Thank youI agree, no anchovies! Fish are friends not food.... I will skip the mushrooms and olives too.
I'm so sorry to hear that! How are you holding up.
I love putting up a freshly cut tree but I don't get to do that this year Seeing our budget is broken the fake on is going up. On a happy note the fake one goes up Friday is it was going to be freshly cut it wouldn't go up for at least an extra week.Good day everyone. The start of a new week. Glad to be back on line. Hubby got up the Christmas tree on Sunday. I'm starting my decorating for the season. Yea! I hope everyone had a great week-end.
Yes I found a very nice one on sale plus 20% extra off. thank you for asking.Sympathy like. At least it went before the actual day this time....so sorry though! Did you find a good replacement?
sympathy like, I feel your pain as it's down to 20 hereIt actually got down to 27 here overnight.
Sympathy like. sometimes things take time at your so called advanced aged. Get well soon. xoxoI'm hoping that you folks will bare with me a little while longer. I intended to publish a few more Europe pictures, but, after having Cataract surgery on Friday, I have been a little discouraged that not only did my eyesight not improve, it is worse. Everything I see with my left eye is blurry and not really improving over time. I'm still hopeful that it will correct without needing another surgery, but, I'm starting to lose my optimism about it. In the meantime reading this stuff, on line, is creating a major burden for my right eye and creating a little eye strain. I'll get back regularly as soon as I can. It's only been three days, but, I was expecting a much faster turnaround. Not happening so far.
I've also made TSSFFBRs in the upper 20's too...!
Thanks again I really like the one of Mickey grillingView attachment 120492

Farm Fresh stand: loaded mac and cheese and key lime wine. Verdict: good but nothing out of the ordinary for the mac and cheese. The key lime wine verdict: very good and refreshing

@MinnieM123 youtube has quite a few of Carol Duval's old craft shows. I remember you said you enjoyed them and and now you can watch them anytime you want as there are quite a few posted.
Are you meaning condensed milk instead of evaporated milk? That makes sense if you aren't also adding sugar.
Thank you! As the mom of a middle school kid it's always great knowing there are people who care. So, my job has all these volunteer events that we are asked to attend, and I did this one last week at a girl's school in Queens. When I signed up, I didn't realize that I was basically going to have to stand up in front of kids and teach a class. I had to wake up at 6:45 in order to be there by 8:45, and I was dreading the entire thing. But it was amazing. These girls were so awesome. We had to do three hours, and it was basically go to three classrooms and tell these girls about your job. I had a sixth grade class, a ninth grade class and a seventh grade class. The sixth and seventh were amazing. The ninth was a rough audience, I'm just saying. But this was incredibly rewarding. Our job was to inspire them. I don't know if I did that, but I hope so. I used a lot of Disney jargon, actually. "You can do anything you put your mind to.....anything your heart desires will come to you....etc, etc." As a fairly cynical New Yorker, I don't know if any of that is really true, but I hope it can be for these great girls. Here is a pic of the event.
